Traditional champagne flutes are tall and narrow—a shape that I’ve always found a bit too fussy. Instead, when I have hosting duties in the next several weeks, I’ll be serving bubbles in these new champagne wine glasses from legendary glassware brand Riedel. They have a wider shape that actually enhances the taste of the champagne, and isn’t that what the holidays are all about?
